Punk Agrees To Fight Cena

At Night of Champions on Sept. 16, WWE Champion CM Punk will have the opportunity to, as John Cena put it, "define [his] existence" by defeating the Cenation leader. Will the reigning WWE Champion prove he is the best in the world?

Triple H: ‘Am I Done?’

Raw results: CM Punk battered Jerry Lawler in a Steel Cage Match

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Not content with just beating Jerry “The King” Lawler in a RAWactive Steel Cage Match, WWE Champion CM Punk battered the WWE Hall of Famer senseless after the bout for refusing to call him “The Best in the World.” The carnage only ended when John Cena charged to ringside and demanded the cage be lifted. In three weeks at Night of Champions, Punk and Cena will tangle one-on-one to determine who really is best. (PREVIEW) Also, Triple H questioned whether we've seen the last of him inside the squared circle.
Punk and Lawler engaged in a heated war of words; Punk wanted Lawler in a match
CM Punk - Jerry Lawler

Raw kicked off with Jerry “The King” Lawler demanding an apology from WWE Champion CM Punk, who kicked the Hall of Famer in the head on last week’s show. But instead of a sincere apology, Lawler received a string of insults from Punk, who still holds a grudge after Lawler’s claims on Raw 1,000 that Punk turned his back on the WWE Universe. After the bitter words — which included Punk calling into question Lawler’s manhood — Punk suggested they fight, leaving the decision for Lawler to think about it, which he agreed to do.

The Rolling Stones have announced details of a new documentary called Crossfire Hurricane to mark their 50th anniversary.
Directed by Brett Morgen, the film features historical footage, much of it widely unseen, and commentary from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood and former Stones Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor. Period interviews, extensive live performance material and news archive footage will complete the documentary, which takes its title from the opening lines of Jumpin' Jack Flash.
Morgen, whose previous films include the Robert Evans documentary The Kid Stays in the Picture, said: "Crossfire Hurricane invites the audience to experience first-hand the Stones' nearly mythical journey from outsiders to rock'n'roll royalty It's an aural and visual rollercoaster ride."
The film will receive a theatrical release in UK cinemas in October prior to broadcast on BBC2, while HBO will screen it in America.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the band has refused to confirm a report on music industry site Billboard that the Stones will play two shows at the O2 Arena in London in November and two at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York.
According to an unnamed source quoted by Billboard, the band will be paid $25m (£15.7m) for the four shows, which will be promoted by Richard Branson and Paul Dainty, whose Dainty Group is the fifth largest concert promoter in the world.
Any live dates would be the first concerts the band have played since their A Bigger Bang world tour, which ended in 2007.
Last week Mick Jagger increased speculation that the Stones are preparing for a comeback by posting a picture of himself on Twitter holding a guitar in a French recording studio.
"Had fun in the Paris studio this week!" he wrote.

Angelina Jolie’s dad ‘waiting for wedding invite’

Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight is eager to receive a formal invite to his daughter’s upcoming wedding.
The actress and her long-term partner Brad Pitt are thought to be tying the knot at their French home this month, however Angelina laughed off the speculation while in Greece.
Jon doesn’t know any details about the ceremony, but he is prepared to rush off to any location in the world to see his daughter wed.
"Listen, they have six kids. Whatever they do that makes them happy and keeps the kids happy, I'm all for it," he told ET Online.
"Listen, if they give me a call and say we want you at a wedding... [I’ll be there]."
Brad and Angelina’s wedding will be a huge family affair.
The couple will give their children special gifts in honour of their union.
The stars have reportedly commissioned a pendant engraved with their marriage vows for each of their six kids.
Like the A-List pair’s wedding bands, the necklaces will be designed by star jeweller Robert Procop, the man behind Angelina’s $160,000 engagement ring.

Robert Pattinson ‘moving to UK’

Robert Pattinson is reportedly planning a return to London to rid himself of "bad memories" in Los Angeles.
The British actor has apparently put the Los Angeles home he once shared with Kristen Stewart up for sale, following her affair with director Rupert Sanders. The actor is now considering moving back to the UK as part of his plan to make a fresh start.
“Robert is thinking long and hard about returning to London,” a source close to the star revealed to Radar Online.
“He’s selling his home in Los Angeles, not only because it holds bad memories, but because he wants a fresh start."
Despite making friends and a successful career for himself in America, Robert has never felt settled in the US. The actor is reportedly even more homesick now he has split with his Twilight co-star Kristen. Robert is apparently leaning towards the idea of returning to his family once the sale of his $6.3 million Los Feliz home is complete.
“He never fell in love with Los Angeles and has always longed for home. When Kristen was shooting Snow White and the Huntsman in London, he made his excuses to visit her as much as he could - he missed it so much," the source continued.
“He is set to make up his mind very soon – his family hasn’t put pressure on him to return – but he misses them very much and they’ve said they’d welcome him back with open arms."
Robert has already taken steps to start making his fresh start following Kristen's betrayal.
"He's spent a fortune in the past two weeks on his hair, teeth whitening and a spray tan," an insider previously told Look magazine.

Taylor Swift set to bring new boyfriend to VMAs

taylor Swift is set to bring her new boyfriend Conor Kennedy to the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles next week.

Taylor Swift will bring Conor Kennedy to the MTV Video Music Awards.

The 'Love Story' singer will debut a new song from her upcoming fourth studio album 'Red' at the ceremony, which takes place at Los Angeles' Staples Center on September 6 ,and sources close to the star say she is planning to bring her new boyfriend along for moral support.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Conor probably won't walk the red carpet, but he'll be there to support her performance at the show!"

The couple are also planning to spend time with Conor's cousin Patrick Schwarzenegger, who is attending the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles.

The source added: "They will probably hang out with Patrick while they are out in LA. Since Patrick will be in town as he just started classes at USC, they all want to party together."

Taylor, 22 and 18-year-old Conor have only been dating since June but friends of the couple say things have gotten so serious they could be planning to elope after the singer sent a plane to fly him to her home in Nashville, Tennessee, because she missed him so much.

A source said: "Taylor missed Conor so much, she sent a plane for him a few days later. He's been with her ever since, and his family doesn't know when he will be back.

"Things have become so serious between them so fast that no one in the Kennedy family compound at Hyannis Port would be surprised if they eloped.

"They are inseparable and are all over each other all the time."

will.i.am hit parked car

will.i.am's and Cheryl Cole's accident happened after his Cadillac hit a parked car, leaving the pair with bloodied noses and the rapper with whiplash.

will.i.am's and Cheryl Cole's accident happened after his Cadillac hit a parked car.

The Black Eyed Peas star and his close friend Cheryl Cole were pictured with bloodied noses after the crash, which happened in Los Angeles at 3.30am yesterday (29.08.12).

Onlookers said will's injury was the result of him being hit by an inflating airbag on the driver's side, while no safety system appeared to have been triggered on Cheryl's side.

A witness told The Sun newspaper: "Both seemed shaken but were checking each other over.

"They both had nose bleeds and at least one of the airbags had deployed.

"Police soon arrived and everyone was told to move back. It was only when will.i.am stepped out I realised who he was and that the passenger was Cheryl. will.i.am's main concern was Cheryl."

The 'Boom Boom Pow' star was taken to nearby Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai hospital, and later left wearing a neckbrace, while his pal was treated at the scene of the accident.

The parked car - which was empty - was badly damaged in the altercation.

Both will and Cheryl later took to twitter to reassure fans they were fine.

will tweeted: "Car accidents are not dope ... I'm glad I'm o.k #wiplash.

"We're fine ...@Cheryl Cole were coming back from the studio but she and I are fine ... just a little #wiplash (sic)."

Cheryl added: "Don't worry me and @iamwill are fine, promise.

Leonardo DiCaprio strips off in The Wolf Of Wall Street

Martin Scorsese's financial drama sees Leonardo DiCaprio snort cocaine and partake in an orgy.

Leonardo DiCaprio will shoot a drug-fuelled orgy in 'The Wolf Of Wall Street'.

The 'J. Edgar' actor is set to strip off and snort cocaine in his most shocking role to date as former stockbroker Jordan Belfort in Martin Scorsese's financial crime drama.

A source told The New York Daily News newspaper: "There will be some pretty illicit sex scenes coming up. It involves four guys and two girls."

"Leo has a scene coming up where he is completely out of his mind on drugs with the other brokers. Cocaine and Quaaludes will be a big part of the movie.

"They are asking the actors to get comfortable with snorting baby laxative. They all have to indulge heavily in cocaine."

The plot is based on the memoir by Jordan Belfort, which charts his rise and fall as a hard-partying stockbroker who was jailed in 1998 for security fraud and money laundering.

The film will involve a lot of nudity as Leonardo indulges in an extreme party lifestyle, and the crew are currently casting for women who are will to strip off on screen.

The insider added: "We have a scene in an office with a troupe of hookers during a coffee break.

"They are in the process of casting a ton of beautiful models, who are willing to bare it all, to portray escorts and strippers.

"The girls have to be incredibly hot."

Martin and Leonardo have been championing the project since 2007, after having previously worked together on 'Gangs of New York', 'The Aviator', 'The Departed' and 'Shutter Island'.

The film begun shooting in New York's Financial District last weekend (25.08.12) and is scheduled for release in 2013.

Michael Jackson birthday dramatic

Michael Jackson's family are reportedly dealing 'with a range of emotions'.
The King of Pop would have turned 54-years-old August 29.
Michael's mother Katherine and his sister LaToya took his three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket to their hometown of Gary, Indiana to celebrate the big day.
According to sources there is not much merriment going on.
'Katherine and Michael's children, along with LaToya and their co-guardian, TJ, are all in Gary, Indiana for birthday festivities for Michael,' a source told Radar Online. 'It's a very somber day filled with a range of emotions but they are trying to not let the sadness of Michael's death consume them. LaToya is just an absolute ray of light for Michael's children and she is trying to keep things upbeat.'
Katherine, who is also mother to Janet, Jermaine and Randy, is said to be furious with her brood as the fallout over tragic Michael's estate continues.
'There is also added stress because of the ongoing family drama with Michael's siblings, Janet, Randy and Rebbie who want the executors of the estate to resign,' the source detailed.
'Janet and Katherine still aren't talking and it's just extremely sad that it has gotten to this.'

How rockers (and you) should promote online

When promoting your rock band (or, really, anything) online, don't get greedy, and remember to

When promoting your rock band (or, really, anything) online, don't get greedy, and remember to "shut up sometimes."
STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • Promoting your band (or other project) online can go wrong if you're not careful
  • Industry pros say don't blast invitations to people who obviously can't come
  • Be present on social media, but remember to "shut up sometimes"
  • Don't pretend we're friends if we're not
(CNN) -- In the old days, bands didn't have too many avenues to hit when promoting their tunes and shows: Street teams put up flyers, local radio stations teased shows, friends tricked other friends into attending open mic nights with the promise of hot chicks/dudes and beer.
Now, bands have the ability to remind us -- repeatedly and in ever-increasing degrees of frenzy -- that their new single is out and available for purchase (PLEASE BUY IT OR I WILL STARVE/FREEZE TO DEATH/CRY OH SO HARD!).
In many ways, such access is a good thing: We always know when our favorite band is in town! We can be among the first to hear their new album! We totally got RT'd by Lil B!
In other ways, it's really freaking annoying. Bands are passionate and rarely sleep, a combination that makes them liable to hit social media with the ferocity and desperation of a 15-year-old girl who has just been dumped by her first brace-faced boyfriend. (There's a chapter called "My Band" in Demetri Martin's "This Is a Book" that perfectly and depressingly encapsulates this state of affairs.)
We spoke with a bevy of music industry professionals about the biggest blunders bands make when attempting to promote themselves online. Check out their biggest screw-ups below -- screw-ups that are not exclusive to the musically inclined, by the way. So take heed, non-guitar-toters; we're basically just talking to anyone online with something to plug.
1. Don't invite the world
"I live in New York. Please do not send me a Facebook invite for your show in Chicago, Cincinnati or Chattanooga, and please do not send me an invite for any raves in Goa." -- Ariel Hyatt, head of Cyber PR
2. Don't be greedy
"When I follow you on Twitter, please don't auto-DM me asking me to also follow you on Facebook (and please do not ask me all in CAPS). Try to understand that one social channel is enough, and feed me where I want to eat." -- Hyatt
3. Shut up sometimes
"Ideally, artists should be posting at least once a day and naturally a few times throughout the day if they're into it. But just like with anyone, we do not need to have our entire feed flooded with constant posts that aren't really relevant to why we are fans of the artist." -- Emily White, co-founder of Whitesmith Entertainment Inc. and Readymade Records & Publishing
4. Be a freaking human being
"We're happy to support artists we follow and love, but the tweets can't just be constant sales pitches. And the best artists or teams figure out ways to sell or promote their music in creative ways that aren't quite so blatant. Instead of 'Buy Here,' I love it when artists have conversations with their fans and ask for support in exchange for creative packages. I contribute $5 a month to Zoe Boekbinder and unexpectedly received a custom T-shirt and handwritten card on the back of a Pippi Longstocking paperback cover this week." -- White
5. Don't be a tag tease
"I can't stand it when musicians get on Twitter and send me stupid or irrelevant @mentions to gain my attention. They want me to notice them, but they go about it all wrong. It does more damage than good! Pay attention to what is being said, and if you are inclined, add something worthwhile to the conversation. Don't simply say, 'Hey @MadalynSklar, go Like my Facebook.' It will not prompt me to do anything other than wish there was a delete button." -- Madalyn Sklar, head of GoGirls Music
6. Don't lie (to yourself)
"The first mistake I've seen is that bands draw overly ambitious analogies about what they sound like. 'We're like My Bloody Valentine meets the Velvet Underground!' No, you're not. Nobody is. Be realistic. This also goes for startups, which tend to make outrageous claims. One service I wrote about recently claimed that they were going to crush Pandora and Spotify, and so my article was all about disabusing them of that notion. If they'd never made such ridiculous claims, I would have viewed what they are doing more generously." -- Eliot Van Buskirk, editor of Evolver.fm
7. Don't spell stuff wrong
"Another mistake: Don't be ridiculous, inane or ungrammatical. Get someone who writes, edits or copy edits for a living to look over what you've written before you send it out. You don't want to end up onFolder Rock." -- Van Buskirk
8. Don't flog the blogs
"For a period of time at Hypebot, a musician was commenting on numerous posts, always attacking the writer in extreme terms and then ending the comment with a request to download his free album followed by a link. This made him look like a self-serving a-hole. The smarter thing to do would have been to make sincere comments in response to posts -- without going overboard -- and then make sure that his signature linked out to his website or social media account." -- Clyde Smith, blogger at Hypebot
9. Don't pretend we're friends
"Don't send me a sincere form letter. If it's a copied-and-pasted thing, don't let pride get in the way of just starting the message with 'Hey everybody!' or something like that. Don't try to trick me into thinking you only sent this message about your new awesome video to just me." -- Eric Victorino, the Limousines
(Editor's note: Same goes for mass texts. Also, don't send mass texts.)
10. Don't blast blindly
"I remember a publicist who would find every e-mail associated with any website I had, even those with nothing to do with (what I write about), and add them to her mailing list. This was particularly annoying because I had an account designated for (music) publicity and actually checked everything that came through. This particular publicist even had a tagline that went something like, 'Don't complain, even God got this.' So she was obviously getting a lot of complaints and not responding in a productive manner. When I called her on this behavior, she became abusive in her e-mails and killed any chance of getting any publicity for any of her artists." -- Smith

David Guetta renews vows

David Guetta has renewed his vows to wife Cathy after they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.

David Guetta has renewed his wedding vows.

The award-winning DJ and his wife Cathy marked their 20th anniversary by reaffirming their commitment to one another in an intimate ceremony in front of close family and friends on Tuesday (28.08.12) on the island of Ibiza, Spain.

The 44-year-old producer - who has worked with the likes of Usher and Jessie J on hit tracks - chose the party island as he has been busy playing a series of gigs there throughout the summer and their two children, Tim, eight, and five-year-old Angie, walked down the aisle with the couple.

David was pictured in a smart black tuxedo while his stunning wife opted for a delicate knee-length white dress.

Cathy - who is a successful business woman and nightclub manager - has previously revealed the holiday island is their favourite place to go.

She said: "I've said it before and I'll say it again because for me, in the summer in Ibiza, it's the place where there's real partying for four months.

"There are some mad clubs, there are thousands of people who go out every night to party so they can dance, have fun, flirt, look good, seduce, be seduced, etc. For me, the most beautiful party is Ibiza in the summer."

Green Day had most fun making new albums

Green Day have revealed the highlight of their careers so far has been producing their three new records '¡Uno!', '¡Dos!', '¡Tre!' and frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said they've never had so much fun.

Green Day had the "funnest time" recording their new albums.

The 'American Idiot' rockers are releasing three records between September and January 2013 - '¡Uno!', '¡Dos!', '¡Tre!' - and frontman Billie Joe Armstrong says making them has been the highlight of the band's career so far.

He said: "These past few months have been probably the funnest time we've ever had."

He also added the band knew they had to start a new chapter in their career after finishing their 'American Idiot' musical last year.

He added to NME magazine: "The end of that era. After that we knew we had to start pounding the songs out again like it was the first time we'd ever been in a band. So that's what we did - just the three of us and Jason [White, long-term second guitarist] with a small set-up.

"Suddenly it felt so good to be doing it that way again. It just felt natural - and it ended up being weirdly fun."

The band - Billie Joe, drummer Tre Cool and bassist Mike Dirnt - are planning to play a huge tour to support their new albums and they performed an impromptu gig at the Reading festival last weekend, which was hailed by many as the highlight of the event.

The mayhem began after Billie Joe tweeted confirming the band were playing at 11am on Saturday (25.08.12) and thousands of eager fans rushed to see them, causing the tent to be closed.

Speaking about the gig he said: "They were afraid of chaos, basically - too many people outside the tent. But we worked it out. I mean, it's always fun when you're doing something you're not supposed to be doing, right?"

There’s nothing more fun than seeing a stereotype fulfilled. This is especially true in the case of movies. Epics’ should have a enormous stringy scores, long stares and laconic speeches. Horror movies should have that trio of friends: the minority that dies first, the hot one that loses their clothes before they die and the quiet one who was in on the whole thing. Likewise, a good action movie needs to avoid complexities like plot, character development or even understandable script and concentrate on the golden rule of explosions / machine gun fire / helicopters every 4 and half minutes. The Expendables 2 does not disappoint. Opening in deepest darkest Nepal with soldiers inexplicably milling around attacking women, pistol whipping prisoners, loading heavy artillery and not paying their TV licence, the film takes just two minutes before Statham and Stallone arrive with their crew, levelling the entire place. Within less than 3 minutes of the film starting Stallone has already driven a motorbike off a ramp and into an airborne helicopter (shortly after taking time out to exchange Man-Banter with Statham).

Despite being paid huge amounts for the insane work they do, the team then return home to what appears to be the roughest joint in town for beer, grunting and misogyny, before Stallone has a man-to-man grunt with Willis that involves yet another deadly mission. Foregoing the need for post battlefield combat therapy, some sleep or perhaps a shower, the team are off again, controversially (and reluctantly) with martial-arts trained safe-cracking expert Maggie (Chinese newcomer Nan Yu) this time to Albania, to capture secret information locked in a safe, in a crashed plane. What follows is another 90 minutes of shooting, explosions and one liners.

This is absolutely epic stuff. Film-buffs, indie-cinema lovers, movie-critics, hide. For anyone that loves an action movie, this is nothing short of a wet dream. The reason is simple: The Expendables 2 takes the clawing, cringing seriousness of most action movies - Pearce Brosnan adjusting his tie after a kung fu fight, Vin Diesel laughing (or burping?) after he wins a race, and has fun with it. Whether it’s Lundgren’s woeful attempts at seducing Nan Yu (“You know, I love Chinese food...”) Bruce Willis mocking Schwarzenegger's aggression (“Whaddya gonna do? Terminate him?”) the fact that Stallone constantly mocks Lundgren for “once being a scientist who got a Fullbright scholarship” (In reality, this is actually true), Schwarzenegger's take on his action-movie team (“We all belong in a museum”) ” or just the sheer self-consciously engineered lines (“We don’t talk about death. We keep it light. Until it’s time to get dark. Then we go pitch black”), it’s obvious that this film is more or less a product of Stallone and his boys point-scoring on each other: it’s fun to watch.

There are attempts made at seriousness, but often it looks like the gag-reel was left in. A moment intended to be emotive, featuring the team coming across armed elderly peasant women trying to stop their sons being abducted for a labour camp is ended by Statham telling Lundgren “Hey, even you might get laid here”. A nod to the realities of intelligence gathering in war with Maggie producing a set of torture instruments in front of a captured soldier is ended with “Whaddya gonna give him, a pedicure?”. The first Expendables ran the risk of looking like it was trying to be a serious action movie. Expendables 2 makes it clear from the off this is not the plan.

Far and away the best moment in the film is the appearance of action-movie royalty, Chuck Norris. Stallone’s greets him with “You’re alive?” followed by a true moment in cinematic history: Chuck Norris, starts cracking Chuck Norris jokes. Cue whistles, claps, cheers and popcorn everywhere at the screening. Norris plays his part beautifully, with lots of looking into the distance and beautifully toe-curling one liners.

The Expendables 2 needs to be approached in the right way. As a “classic” action flick, it lacks the pace of Speed, the style of Bad Boys or the stylish, macho violence of Blade. However, as an action film that consistently and knowingly sails seriously close to being a parody of itself, the Expendables 2 delivers. It’s destined to be a divisive, love it or hate it movie, but go into it expecting fun-with-guns and it might just be the best movie you’ve seen for a while.

I’d watch it again.
